LOOK: More pictures of Zenix-based Suzuki Invicto MPV
India will have a choice between the Toyota Zenix (AKA Innova Hycross) and the Suzuki Invicto

Remember when (grainy) pictures of what looks like a Toyota Innova Zenix (called Innova Hycross in India) wearing Suzuki badges were spotted in India? As it turns out, Suzuki will indeed be selling a rebadged version of the all-new Zenix. But instead of sharing the Zenix name, it will actually be sold as the Invicto.
But given the low quality of the images we saw prior, it was only natural for us to look for better quality pictures. Luckily, Indian publication Motorbeam recently published new photos of the Suzuki Invicto, and we were able to get a better look at the Zenix-based MPV.

Looking at the new images, it's clear that the MPV gets subtle changes for its Suzuki rebadge. For starters, it has a unique front grille that appears to be similar in design to the XL6/XL7. Meanwhile, the bumper appears to be the same as the Zenix with its horizontal daytime running lights and chin spoiler.
Around the back, not much was changed for the Suzuki Invicto apart from the new Suzuki “S” badge which replaces the Toyota “T” badge. As for the wheels, the Invicto will have its own set of alloys that are different from the Zenix.
Inside, the MPV gets a simpler interior without the dark shade of brown and the blacked-out elements seen in the Toyota version. Instead, the Suzuki Invicto will have a mostly black cabin with copper accents on the dashboard, door pads, and center console. Last but not least, the steering wheel also comes with the Suzuki badge to complete the makeover.

Like the Zenix and Hycross, the Invicto will come with a 2.0-liter hybrid powertrain. That means a four-cylinder gas engine that's assisted by an electric motor – resulting in a total output of 174 PS and 205 Nm of torque. Power goes to the front wheels via a CVT. There will be no naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter variant of the Invicto for India.
With the Suzuki Invicto set to be available in the Indian market soon, will Suzuki Philippines bring it here?
