LOOK: Is this the all-new Toyota Innova Hybrid?
The official reveal of the all-new Toyota Innova could just be weeks away

Just days after Toyota released another teaser image of its next-generation MPV, the all-new Innova was supposedly spotted in the metal somewhere in Indonesia.
Indonesian publication Kompas Otomotif was able to spot the upcoming three-row MPV out in the wild in the West Karawang area of the country. Immediately noticeable on the vehicle is its new front end which we already caught a glimpse of last October.

Not only does it come with the new grille, but the MPV in question also comes with redesigned headlights and a more stylish bumper. While we initially thought it will get a dramatic restyling, it’s quite apparent now that the all-new Innova will still have a familiar face, albeit slightly altered to look classier than before.
We also managed to get a side profile view of the all-new Innova without any camouflage hiding its lines. While it may not be the clearest of shots, we did notice that the third-row window is smaller. This leads us to believe that it could get shorter rear overhangs thanks to the supposedly new TNGA platform the next-generation Innova will sit on.

And speaking of TNGA, it has been reported that the upcoming Innova will switch from a body-on-frame RWD platform to a more passenger-friendly FWD layout. Not only will this allow Toyota to put a hybrid powertrain under the hood, but it will also let the automaker put more features and intelligent driver aids into the MPV.
The exact powertrain options for the electrified Innova are still a mystery. But it’s been heavily implied that the turbo-diesel engine could be replaced by a 2.0-liter hybrid inline-four.

Since the all-new Toyota Innova has already been sighted looking ready for its debut, when will the automaker actually hold its global debut? According to the publication, it will apparently be revealed in mid-November. That means we could just be weeks or days away before its official unveiling in Indonesia.
