LOOK: Camoed All-new Mitsubishi Strada spotted in Thailand
Next-gen Mitsubishi Strada being tested in ASEAN, coming soon to PH?

After being spotted several times over in Europe, Mitsubishi’s all-new pickup truck could soon be revealed in Thailand. That’s because a camouflaged prototype of the supposed next-generation Strada was spotted recently over at The Land of Smiles.
Based on the initial photos, the pickup truck in question almost looks like the one first spotted several months ago over in The Old Continent. Despite the camouflage still hiding most of the vehicle, it’s clear that it gets the same LED headlights and a huge front grille.

Like the current Strada, the window kink has been carried over to the next-generation model. However, we did notice that the J-Line that splits the bed and the cabin seems to be no longer present. On the other hand, the fender lines and prominent side creases appear to have been inspired by the Nissan Navara.
This doesn’t really surprise us since Nissan announced back in 2020 that both the next-generation Navara and Strada will be platform siblings. Not only will both trucks share the same platform, but they will also likely have similar chassis components, powertrain options, as well as suspension bits. This was officially confirmed by the Director, Representative Officer, and COO of Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., Ashwani Gupta.

With the all-new pickup truck being tested in Thailand, this could mean Mitsubishi is already gearing up for its debut soon. However, we’re also wondering where could the next-gen Nissan Navara be. But for now, we certainly cannot wait to get more sightings of the all-new Mitsubishi Strada in Thailand or in other ASEAN countries.
