LOOK: All-new Honda Amaze leaked ahead of launch
This is the third generation Honda Amaze before you're supposed to see it

A few years ago, Honda Cars Philippines Inc (HCPI) decided to launch something smaller than the City: the Brio Amaze. Essentially the four-door version of the Brio hatchback, the Brio Amaze offered a choice for buyers who want a hatchback-sized vehicle but with a trunk in the back.
Unfortunately, HCPI decided to discontinue the Brio Amaze due to low sales and buyers' preference for small crossovers over mini sedans. Fast-forward to the end of 2024 and Honda is set to launch the latest generation of the Brio Amaze.

Now called the Amaze, the third-generation sedan is set to be unveiled in India and will feature a more upscale design. However, someone already leaked the next-generation Amaze before its scheduled debut.
Based on a Reddit post, the all-new Amaze looks like a pint-sized version of the current generation City. It has a trapezoidal grille, sleek LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, and new foglight bezels. All of these make the 2025 Amaze now follow Honda’s current design language.

The same can be said for the rear as it now gets a pair of eye-catching LED taillights that look just like the ones found in the City. It also gets a faux chrome trim on the trunk lid which gives the vehicle a more stylish appearance. Last but not least, it has multi-spoke alloy wheels on high-grade variants which give the budget sedan a more upmarket appearance.
Hop inside and more styling elements derived from the Honda City can be seen in the all-new Amaze. From the dual gauge cluster with a central multi-info display to the free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, as well as the two-tone interior finish on high-tier models, Honda wasn’t afraid to get some inspiration from the City.

Also worth mentioning are the presence of rear aircon vents, an engine start/stop button, USB ports on the center console, cruise control buttons on the steering wheel, what looks to be a 360-degree camera system, automatic climate control, and what appears to be Honda Sensing intelligent driver aids.
Under the hood, the all-new Honda Amaze will likely get the same 1.2L four-cylinder i-VTEC engine derived from the Brio hatchback. It makes 90 PS with 110 Nm of torque and can be mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT.

With the leak spoiling Honda’s big launch of the all-new Amaze, buyers in India who want something smaller than the City might get the smaller sedan. The only question now is, could we see the Amaze make a comeback in the Philippine market in the future?
