LOOK: 2024 Porsche Cayenne's dashboard looks like the Taycan

It won't be long before Porsche reveals the refreshed 2024 Cayenne. The Stuttgart-based automaker has just revealed the first images of the updated crossover.

While we have yet to officially see the exterior redesign of the 2024 Cayenne, Porsche did show pictures of the crossover's more high-tech cabin. One of the most obvious changes Porsche did inside the Cayenne is by installing a wide array of screens while still having a bevy of analog buttons/switches. Called the Porsche Driver Experience, it strikes the right balance between digital and analog elements. More importantly, the interior looks like it was heavily inspired by the Taycan.

For starters, the instrument cluster is now fully digital and features a 12.6-inch curved display. With no hood cover, Porsche claims the instrument display has a more modern, slimline appearance. Not only does the cluster show the rev counter, but it can also display night vision assist and the 3D driving assistance systems in the foreground. For drivers that want the classic Porsche five-tube instrument cluster design, they can do so by selecting it on the menu.

Complementing the digital cluster is a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment and an optional 10.9-inch display for the front passenger. Both screens can handle various in-car settings and amenities with ease. From the navigation to the media controls, the new touchscreens are designed to take the strain off the driver should they have a companion onboard.

To free up space on the center console of the Cayenne, Porsche borrowed some design cues from the Taycan. With it, the gear selector is now placed on the right of the steering wheel between the instrument cluster and the touchscreen. This allowed Porsche to install a large air-conditioning control panel with analog controls as well as extra storage space. Meanwhile, the steering wheel has been redesigned and now has a sporty look and feel inspired by the 911.

With Porsche already giving us a glimpse of the Cayenne's interior, perhaps it might not be long before the automaker fully unveils the redesigned Cayenne to the public.
