Locate, monitor, and insure your Toyota with myToyota Connect
Toyota's all-in-one app adds vehicle locator, monitoring and insurance with myToyota Connect

Toyota Motor Philippines' myToyota app has been expanded with more options and features that can even lower your running costs in the long run.
TMP has launched the myToyota Connect – the added feature that lets you locate, monitor, and insure your Toyota vehicle at the touch of your fingertips.

With the myToyota Connect, it enables users to check the mileage, fuel level, and engine status through the “Vehicle Status” feature. In addition, the “My Trips” option basically tracks down your Toyota's incurred trips through a certain period and can be accessed with varying details including starting point and destination, plus the amount of fuel consumed, among others.
Meanwhile, aside from locating your vehicle through the “Find My Car” feature, the myToyota Connect also allows users to set boundaries or radial limits on which destination it's allowed to go to. Once the vehicle goes past that limit, the app either notifies the user or keeps a record of how many times the limit has been breached.

The myToyota Connect now also gives maintenance reminders and notifications for its users, which can be configured depending on the mileage set on the app. Combined with the existing service appointment feature of the myToyota app, this feature should enable vehicle owners to keep their Toyotas in tip-top shape.
Lastly, Connected Toyota Insure has also been added to myToyota Connect, which can reward safe drivers based on their good driving habits, lowering their insurance premiums on their annual renewals. Initially, Toyota had AXA PH as its insurance partner with regard to the Connected Toyota Insure program.
According to TMP executives, the model reach for myToyota Connect should expand once further developments on the app have been made. But for now, TMP is rolling out myToyota Connect for their Hiace and RAV4 models, with 2 years of free subscription to the mobile app available upon purchase.
