Lexus breathes new life to LS flagship sedan for 2026
Lexus subtly updates the LS with new amenities and color choices

Luxury crossovers and SUVs may be all the rage today, but Lexus still believes there’s room for the full-size sedan in the premium car market. Lexus just launched the updated LS for the 2026 model year, and it has some neat & fresh goodies.
While no exterior changes were made, Lexus introduced new color options for the full-size flagship sedan. There’s White Nova Glass Flake, which the automaker claims pursues a clear white finish. It is then followed by Deep Blue Mica, which combines vividness and lustrous depth.

The premium interior has also been carried over, which means customers will not be disappointed with the number of creature comforts like semi-aniline seats, power-adjustable front & rear seats, high-quality wood trim accents, four-zone climate control, and a 23-speaker Mark Levinson sound system.
For 2026, however, heated front & rear seats are now standard equipment across the range for improved comfort.
Prefer your Lexus LS in F Sport trim? The automaker introduces new brake calipers as an option. Not only do they have a distinct red finish for all to see, but the logos are painted in a unique silver finish for that extra flair.

Under the hood, the 2026 Lexus LS continues to be powered by twin-turbo V6 engines. The hybrid version (LS 500h) gets the 8GR-FXS 3.5L V6 that’s assisted by an electric motor and makes a combined 299 PS with 350 Nm of torque. The engine is then coupled to a multi-stage hybrid transmission. Meanwhile, the non-hybrid variant (LS 500) comes with the V35A-FTS 3.5L twin-turbo V6 that cranks out 421 PS and 600 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The premium car market may be shifting towards high-riding vehicles, but the flagship Lexus LS will always have a heck of a presence.
