Last Acura NSX Type S officially rolls off factory
Acura NSX Type number 350 marks the end of the hybrid-electric supercar's story

Last year, Acura officially said farewell to the second-generation NSX with the limited-run Type S. Serving as the official send-off for the brand's flagship supercar, the Type S produces more power, has improved handling, and comes with a more aggressive exterior over the regular NSX.
With only 350 units to be made, it will be one of the rarest Acuras in the world. And now, the automaker has just announced that the last of the NSX Type S has rolled off the assembly line. That's right, the car you're seeing right now is number 350 and it was recently completed at the company's Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC) in Marysville, Ohio.

Finished in Gotham Gray matte paint, the final second-generation NSX marks the end of the hybrid-electric supercar's run which first started back in 2016. More than that, all 350 units of the NSX get a new front bumper with large air intakes and a carbon fiber splitter. The rear end, meanwhile, also gets a new bumper that is complemented by a diffuser also made from carbon fiber. Last but not least, new lightweight forged alloy wheels complete the exterior upgrades of the NSX Type S.
Should customers truly want their 600 PS NSX Type S to be more lightweight, they can also get opt for the Lightweight Package. This gives the supercar carbon-ceramic brakes, a carbon fiber engine cover, along with additional carbon fiber interior trim.

If you're one of the lucky few to have ordered an NSX Type S, do know that what you have is 1 of 350 units made globally. In fact, Acura said that 300 of those are for the US market, 30 for Japan, while the 20 remaining examples are for the rest of the world.
