Land Rover releases Defender 75th Limited Edition

It was 1948 when the Series 1 was introduced by Land Rover at the Amsterdam Motor Show. Today the Defender is celebrating its diamond jubilee with the 75th Limited Edition that will be available in 90 or 110 body designs.

The Defender 75th Limited Edition is based on the high-specification HSE, with comprehensive standard equipment. It has a 3D Surround Camera, configurable terrain response, Meridian Sound System, Matrix LED front lighting, an 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system, a heads-up display, and a wireless device charger.

Land Rover is introducing a new color on the Defender 75th, Grasmere Green. It will come with 20-inch alloy wheels, also in the same color, and with matching center caps. On its body are a 75 Years graphic, Ceres Silver bumpers, and privacy glass.

The cabin of the Defender 75th Limited Edition has 14-way driver and passenger heated electric memory seats, a heated steering wheel, and three-zone climate control. Meanwhile, the cross car beam is finished in brushed Grasmere Green powder coat and laser-etched detailing on cross car beam end caps. The seats are finished in Resist Ebony, with the hockey stick on the center console featuring Robustec material.

Other features of the 75th Limited Edition are a folding fabric roof or the option of a sliding panoramic roof. Optional accessories include an electrically deployable tow bar and all-season tires.

The Defender 75th Limited Edition has a range of powertrain choices, including the P400e plug-in electric hybrid (PHEV) on 110 models, in addition to P400 and D300 Ingenium petrol and diesel options, both using mild hybrid electric vehicle (MHEV) technology.
