Land Rover Defender PHEV has landed, starts at PHP 8.890M
After Range Rover Sport PHEV, Land Rover PH launches plug-in variant of Defender

A couple of weeks ago, Land Rover Philippines confirmed that the plug-in hybrid variant (PHEV) of the Defender is on its way to the country. Not only that, but Chris Ward, president of the official distributor of Land Rover in the country Coventry Motors, also confirmed that PHEV versions of the all-new Range Rover and Range Rover Sport will also be coming to the Philippines real soon.
Fast forward to December, Land Rover Philippines has sprung a surprise after they (quietly) revealed the Defender PHEV. It was launched alongside the Defender 130 and will offer improved fuel consumption along with fewer carbon emissions.

All variants of the Defender PHEV come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that’s helped along by a 105 kW electric motor and a 19.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Dubbed the P400e, it delivers a total system output of 404 PS and 640 Nm of torque which is similar to the Range Rover Sport PHEV’s current output.
Land Rover says the electrified Defender can go from 0 - 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds which is surprisingly quick for a 4x4 SUV. Moreover, it has the ability to travel for an estimated 43 km on pure electric power on a full charge. When it comes to fuel consumption, Land Rover mentioned the Defender PHEV is capable of averaging between 32 to 40 km per liter.

When it comes to amenities, the PHEV is available with features that can also be found in the 90, and 130 Series models. These include an 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system, power-adjustable front seats with memory function, automatic climate control, leather seats, LED ambient lighting, and many more.

Pricing for the 2023 Land Rover Defender PHEV starts at PHP 8.890 million and is currently only available on the 110 body style. Listed below are the other variants that come with the extra accessories already fitted.
110 SE P400e with Urban Accessory Pack - PHP 9.030 million
