Lamborghini turns Revuelto into a moving art piece
Reveulto Opera Unica unveiled by Lamborghini at the Art Basel Miami Beach 2023

If there's one more thing Lamborghini is known for besides making exquisite Italian supercars powered by powerful V8, V10, or V12 engines, it's probably the unique paint finishes they offer to customers.
With hues like Nardo Gray, Giallo Auge, Blu Uranus, Rosso Efesto, Arancio Borealis, and more, Lamborghini has plenty of distinct colors for discerning customers to choose from—however, these unique colors pale in comparison to the special Revuelto the company recently unveiled.

What you're looking at right now is the Revuelto “Opera Unica”; a one-off moving art piece that was recently unveiled at the Art Basel Miami Beach 2023. Showcasing a highly-customized version of the V12 plug-in hybrid supercar, the Opera Unica (which translates to “Unique Work”) was made possible with Lamborghini's Centro Stile under the direction of the company's Ad Personam team.
The unique finish on the Revuelto became a reality after 76 hours of development and testing – resulting in a total of 435 hours to complete the special (hand-painted) paint job on the Opera Unica. The base color fades from Viola Pasifea at the front to Nero Helene towards the rear. There's even a subtle 60th anniversary logo on the hood which can appear or “disappear” depending on the angle.

“We wanted to create something purely artistic using brushes and a combination of colors as if the Revuelto was a canvas. That is what fueled our inspiration for this special livery. With the dynamic hand-painted exterior we really emphasize the aerodynamics and speed of the car,” said Mitja Borkert, Automobili Lamborghini Design Director.
Just like the exterior, the interior of the Opera Unica also comes with a similar look & finish. The cabin is finished in both Viola Acutus and Nero Ade leather while the seat backs, door cards, and headliner are embroidered in the same stylish colors that were hand-painted on the outside of the plug-in hybrid supercar.

Like its regular counterparts, the Opera Unica is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 plug-in hybrid powertrain that doles out an impressive 1,001 PS combined. This allows the vehicle to rocket itself to 100 km/h from a standstill in just 2.5 seconds. Even more impressive is the fact that it can catapult from 0 – 200 km/h in 7 seconds and reach a top speed of 350 km/h. And since this is a PHEV, the Revuelto can also be driven with just electric power for about 10 km which is not much but impressive still.

“As the company's top market globally, it's quite fitting that we bring this Revuelto 'Opera Unica' to the U.S. and present it during Art Basel Miami Beach. Being the fastest, most technologically advanced, and customizable Lamborghini in history, the Revuelto has seen a tremendously positive response from customers globally. The iconic V12 plays an integral part in Lamborghini’s history and with this 'Opera Unica' we have truly explored the possibilities of our Ad Personam personalization, thus creating an automotive masterpiece,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman & CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
The Revuelto 'Opera Unica' will be present in Miami Beach until December 10, 2023.
