Lamborghini passes 20,000 Huracan milestone
Huracan number 20,000 has rolled off Automobili Lamborghini's production line

The Huracan was launched as Lamborghini’s successor to the Gallardo. It was the second-generation model of the so-called "baby Lamborghinis" powered with V10 engines, as previous supercars from the Sant’Agata factory like the Diablo, the Murcielago, and the Aventador came out with V12s.
Lamborghini first debuted the Huracan LP610-4 at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. And since then, numerous versions have come out, such as the two-wheel-drive LP580-2, the drop-top LP610-4 Spyder, the Performante, and so on and so forth. Not only that, but the Huracan also did active duty by being a patrol car of the Italian Police, and of course, had successful racing versions like the Super Trofeo and GT3 EVO.

It’s hard to believe the Huracan is already eight years old, as Lamborghini continues to evolve the V10 supercar by coming out with new versions, the last one being the Huracan Tecnica.
And now, as Automobili Lamborghini celebrates the 20,000th Huracan - a special Super Trofeo Homologata (STO) for a certain client in the Principality of Monaco finished in stunning Grigio Achesso Matt, or in other words, Matte Gray rolls out of production.

“The Huracán has delivered an evolution of design, technological know-how, driving adventures, track records, and sales records since its launch. It was designed as a car to provide super sports emotion in every environment, from daily driving to thrilling performance on track. Every iteration of the Huracán has stayed true to that Lamborghini philosophy.” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

Normal production cars could easily reach 20,000 units. But for a supercar to reach that milestone is indeed a special achievement to celebrate. Long live the Huracan.
