Kia PH to preview EV5 at 2025 Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit
Kia Philippines and ACMobility is bringing the EV5 to the 13th Philippine EV Summit at SMX

It may have taken them a bit longer, but ACMobility has stayed true to the confirmation they announced two years ago.
Kia Philippines is set to give a first look at the EV5 electric crossover at the 13th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit. The model could potentially slot in below the EV9 and EV6 in Kia PH’s all-electric lineup, and be offered at more reachable prices.

For now, that’s all we can say as Kia has yet to give official specs and other details about the model. But upon looking at the list of DOE-recognized EVs, the EV5 could come with an 88 kWh battery capacity, which is the long-range version. The single motor setup puts out 217 PS and 310 Nm of torque, and has an estimated range of up to 665 km.

Aesthetically, the EV5 follows the design language of the bigger EV9 with a boxy silhouette, while it has small differences in the front fascia and its light signatures. At 4.6 meters long and almost 1.9 meters wide, the EV5 is a compact crossover that’s slightly smaller than the BYD Sealion 5.
There’s only a week before the EV5 makes its Philippine preview, so stay tuned for new information ahead of its public debut at the 13th Philippine EV Summit.
