Kia PH quietly adds base EX Turbo Hybrid to 2025 Carnival lineup
Kia Philippines adds sub PHP 3M variant of 2025 Carnival Turbo Hybrid

Kia Philippines is bringing its turbo hybrid powertrain to a wider range of customers for the Carnival minivan.
Upon checking the official Kia Philippines website, the Korean manufacturer has quietly added the EX Turbo Hybrid variant for the 2025 Carnival. That means customers can now choose between Diesel or Turbo Hybrid power for both the entry-level EX and top-of-the-line SX trim.
The new Carnival EX Turbo Hybrid comes with smaller wheels, and a shorter list of standard features compared to the SX+ Turbo Hybrid. Some of those include standard captain seats for the 2nd row instead of the Relaxation Seats for the SX+, multi-reflector LEDs instead of the 4-cube projector LEDs on the top-spec model, and fewer advanced driving features on the Kia DriveWise system.

Powered by a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder T-GDI engine and an electric motor, the Carnival EX Turbo Hybrid delivers a combined 245 PS and 367 Nm of torque. Like the SX+, the hybrid is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that drives the front wheels.
Surprisingly, Kia has decided to give the Carnival EX Turbo Hybrid the exact same pricing as the Carnival EX Diesel, retailing for PHP 2,888,000.
