Kia PH achieves 71% growth, sold 4,195 units in first half of 2025
Kia's diverse lineup and mobility movement help usher in the brand's milestones for first half of the year

Kia Philippines distributor ACMobility achieved significant growth for the first half of 2025. This comes after the automaker announced it was able to accelerate its momentum and become one of the fastest-growing brands among the country’s top ten automotive players.
Based on an industry report by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) for the first half of the year, Kia Philippines was able to sell a total of 4,195 units, which translates to a 71% increase compared to the same period in 2024. This strong performance highlights Kia’s solid position in the local market and shows rising consumer demand for modern and versatile vehicles.
“Throughout the years, Kia has firmly established itself as a strong force in the Philippine automotive landscape, and with this new milestone, it shows how this continuously holds true till today. With a compelling mix of innovative vehicles, growing nationwide presence, and a clear direction toward transformative mobility, Kia is shaping the future of mobility in a way that’s reliable, exciting, and built for the Filipino driver,” said Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines.

Leading the sales growth for Kia was none other than the Sonet, the brand’s newest and most affordable vehicle in the lineup. With over 3,171 units sold, it continues to be the brand’s best-selling model, as it combines a fun & practical design complete with plenty of features at an affordable price point. Kia marked the Sonet’s first anniversary in the country last June with a convoy attended by more than 60 owners, serving as a testament to the growing community and strong customer base.
Meanwhile, the Sorento recorded an impressive triple-digit sales growth from the same period last year, demonstrating the rising demand for Kia’s hybrid offerings. Also part of the brand's hybrid lineup is the Carnival, and fully electric models such as the EV6 and EV9, providing customers with a diverse range of options that meet different lifestyles and driving needs.
Also helping Kia achieve this milestone is The Kia Movement, a nationwide initiative that unifies the brand’s product portfolio under a shared vision of progressive, sustainable, and customer-focused mobility. It also highlights Kia’s commitment to offering stylish yet practical vehicles built for both today’s demands and tomorrow’s possibilities.

“Our strong first-half performance shows that more Filipinos are choosing Kia for its smart design, everyday reliability, and growing range of options. This momentum reflects our ability to connect with a new generation of drivers who value both innovation and practicality, especially through The Kia Movement,” added Lopez.
Last but not least, the strong collaboration between Kia Philippines and ACMobility, the Ayala Group’s mobility arm, has been instrumental in scaling the brand’s presence. Through synchronized efforts in brand-building, EV infrastructure, and digital innovation, ACMobility has helped make Kia’s offerings increasingly accessible and appealing to a broader customer base.
As it enters the second half of 2025, Kia remains focused on evolving its lineup and advancing its electrification efforts through innovation and customer-focused initiatives, ensuring it stays aligned with the shifting needs of today’s drivers.
