Kia EV5 set to make its PH debut at 2026 MIAS
2026 Manila International Auto Show will serve as the launchpad of the Kia EV5

After giving interested customers the chance to test drive the EV5 several weeks ago, Kia Philippines distributor ACMobility has announced that the brand's latest electric vehicle (EV) is about to make its official debut in the country.
Come next week at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), Kia Philippines will officially launch the EV5. You read right, one of the brand's latest EV offerings is set for its market launch, and we already have an idea of what to expect.
Based on what the Department of Energy (DOE) has listed last month, the Kia EV5 for the Philippine market will supposedly be available in two variants: GL and GLS. Both models produce 217 PS from a single electric motor and are powered by an 88.1 kWh battery pack. This gives the EV5 a range of up to 550 km on a single charge.

Size-wise, the compact electric SUV measures 4615mm long, 1875mm wide, and 1715mm tall. Initial features available for the Kia EV5 include 19-inch alloy wheels, a vehicle-to-load (V2L) function, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, AC/DC charging, a pair of digital displays, and selectable drive modes like Eco, Normal, and Sport.
With the Kia EV5 set to be revealed next week, those who are looking at an alternative solution to the high fuel prices may want to visit the nearest Kia dealership and place a reservation.
