Jetour Zongheng G700 flagship SUV confirmed for PH
The Jetour Zongheng G700 has over 900 PS and can travel up to 100 km on EV power

Yesterday, Jetour Auto Philippines Inc. (JAPI) distributor United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI) launched its latest plug-in hybrid (PHEV) offering, the T1 Lightning i-DM. It slots below the much larger T2 Lightning and offers an EV range of up to 120 km, along with a combined range of 1,200 km.
With a wide array of PHEVs available for the Philippine market, Jetour is poised to get an even bigger slice of the SUV market, as well as the plug-in hybrid segment. But if you thought Jetour is resting on its laurels after holding its latest launch, it already has plans for the future.

During a press conference yesterday during the launch of the T1 Lightning, Mr. Ke Chuandeng, president of Jetour Auto International (JAI), shared that they already have several models lined up for the Philippines. One of those is the newly-launched Zongheng G700 flagship SUV.
That's right, the plug-in hybrid 4x4 SUV that recently crossed the Yangtze River will soon be making its way here in the Philippines. While no exact timeline was given for its eventual arrival, the executive did mention that it will be the most capable and feature-packed model to date from Jetour.

Already available in markets such as the United Arab Emirates, the Jetour Zongheng G700 is a plug-in hybrid SUV that combines a 2.0L turbocharged engine that's assisted by a pair of electric motors and a high-capacity 34.13 kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery. It has a combined system output of 904 PS and a staggering 1,135 Nm of torque. From a standstill, Jetour says the G700 can sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
On a full charge, the Jetour G700 can travel up to 100 km based on the WLTC cycle, which is impressive given its size and heft. Its total system range, however, is rated at just under 1,400 km, which is equally impressive. Since it's the flagship model, the G700 supports an 800V architecture that allows for fast DC charging of up to 170 kW.

Besides having one heck of a powertrain, the G700 also comes with plenty of amenities like full leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, captain seats for the second row, an XWD all-terrain intelligent control system that has 14 drive modes, a 17.3-inch rear entertainment display, a massive 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 35-inch instrument and multi-info display that's almost as wide as the dashboard itself.

With the Zongheng G700 set to be offered in the country soon, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for any new info about it, as well as its possible launch date in the Philippines.
