Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 20th Anniversary coming soon?
This could be our first look at the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 20th Anniversary Concept

It was back in 2003 when Jeep rolled out the first-ever Wrangler Rubicon. Unlike regular Wrangler models, the Rubicon version came with extra 4x4 features that include next-generation Dana axles, all-terrain tires, electronic locking differentials, and other off-road luxuries other Wrangler variants can wish to have.
2023 officially marks the Rubicon's 20th anniversary. With that in mind, is Jeep planning to release a special edition of the Wrangler Rubicon? As it turns out, the automaker is indeed cooking up something.
This year's Easter Jeep Safari is slated to run from April 9 to 17, 2022. Per tradition, Jeep debuts several concepts during the annual event. Based on the latest teaser, it seems Jeep just gave us a glimpse of the Wrangler Rubicon 20th Anniversary in concept form.

Looking at the sole teaser photo, the hood decal features the name 'Rubicon' along with the number '20' at the end. If anything, this somehow confirms our speculation of a 20th Anniversary special edition model of the Wrangler Rubicon. Jeep even posted the teaser image over on social media with the caption “Celebrating 20 years of Rubicon capability. We unwrap it for real at Easter Jeep Safari 2022”.
Also worth mentioning on the upcoming concept is what appears to be a hood bulge. The only time that a hood bulge was made for a Wrangler was when they launched the Wrangler Rubicon 392 back in 2020. Having said that, it looks like the 20th Anniversary Rubicon concept will come with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 that churns out 470 PS with 637 Nm of torque.

With the concept set to debut at the Easter Jeep Safari next month, the production version might most likely be launched before the end of 2022 as a 2023 model year release.
Since Jeep is still tight-lipped about the other details of the upcoming Rubicon concept, all we can do for now is wait until they reveal it in April.
