Isuzu PH quietly reveals D-Max LS-A 4x4, 4WD Single Cab
New D-Max 3.0 LS-A 4x4 manual can be yours for PHP 1.690 million, 3.0 Single Cab for PHP 1.113 million

It looks like Isuzu Philippines Corporation tried to be sneaky when they were updating the D-Max lineup. Unfortunately for the automaker, we noticed the changes they made after visiting their website recently.
What immediately caught our attention is the addition of several new variants of the popular pick-up truck. For starters, the D-Max LS-A is now available with a 4WD system. Called the 3.0 4x4 LS-A M/T, it gets all the goodies and amenities as the 4x2 LS-A models, as well as a few extras.
Instead of having halogen headlights, it now gets the same bi-beam LED units as the top-spec LS-E complete with LED daytime running lights. However, that's all the upgrades it gets as the 3.0 4x4 LS-A still comes with fabric seats, halogen foglights, and manual air-conditioning from the lesser models. At least it still comes with the massive 18-inch alloy wheels, gun metallic accents, and the bedliner at the back.
Under the hood, it comes with the 3.0-liter 4JJ3-TCX turbo-diesel that cranks out 190 PS with 450 Nm of torque. It's then mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and is helped along with a 4x4 system.

The other new variant Isuzu introduced is the 3.0 4x4 Single Cab M/T. That's right, customers who prefer a single cab work truck with off-road capability can now get one from Isuzu. Like the LS-E and LS-A, it's powered by the same 3.0-liter turbo-diesel and is connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The 4x4 Single Cab offers no non-sense simplicity. It has a gross vehicle weight of 2,800 kg (200 kg more than the LS-E and 300 kg more than the LS-A) and the aforementioned 4WD system.
Looking to get either of Isuzu's latest offerings? The 3.0 4x4 LS-A M/T retails for PHP 1,630,000 while the 3.0 4x4 Single Cab version has a sticker price of PHP 1,113,000.
