Isuzu PH donates PHP 1M to health care institutions
Isuzu Philippines initiate PHP 1-million cash donation to four hospitals in the country

As part of the Road to Progress vision launched during its 25th inaugural anniversary in support of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) initiated a cash donation project to select hospitals nationwide.
Specifically aiming to promote good health and well-being to the community and living up to its tagline “Your Responsible Partner”, IPC donated a total of PHP 1 million cash to four select hospitals in different regions of the Philippines, with each hospital receiving PHP 250,000 cash to aid in their projects and necessities.
The first two PHP 250,000 was turned over to Northern Mindanao Medical Center in Cagayan De Oro and Irosin District Hospital in Sorsogon. As pledged, IPC completes its PHP 1 million cash donation before the year ends as it turns over the last two PHP 250,000 to Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC) in Quezon City and Dumarao Medicare Hospital in Capiz.

The two turnover ceremonies were done separately with Ms. Imelda Bernas – IPC Assistant Vice President for Administration and Mr. Robert Carlos - IPC Sales Assistant Division Head leading the ceremony.
Philippine Children’s Medical Center is a government-run hospital specializing in pediatrics. Apart from catering to pediatric patients, PCMC also serves as a training ground for specialists with their training and service programs. They are currently expanding and enhancing their facilities to better serve not just their patients but also their trainees. Using the cash donation from IPC, PCMC will build a shed for their waiting area to protect the patients, parents, and personnel while waiting for their schedule.
Meanwhile, Dumarao Medicare Hospital (DMH) is also a local government-run hospital in Dumarao, Capiz, catering to patients from several nearby barangays. With the PHP 250,000 cash donation from IPC, this small hospital is looking forward to purchasing more medical supplies and medicines for its patients.
“We are glad that we are able to extend assistance to different hospitals nationwide through this Road to Progress donation project. As Filipino’s responsible partner, our goal here is to be able to give back to the community, particularly those that are in dire need of assistance. Together with our dealers, we hope to uplift the lives of many more Filipinos with our projects in line with our renewed vision,” said Ms. Imelda Bernas, IPC Assistant Vice President for Administration.
