Isuzu PH celebrates 60 years in Bacolod with revamped dealership
Isuzu PH and SAMTC proudly unveil the refreshed Bacolod dealership

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) just marked six decades of unwavering service to the Bacolod community. This comes after IPC, in partnership with Southern Auto Mart and Trading Corporation (SAMTC), proudly unveiled the newly refreshed Isuzu Bacolod dealership.
The location now adheres to the brand's Isuzu Outlet Standard (IOS) design philosophy, marking a milestone of 60 years of service to the Bacolod community. It also serves as a testament to the enduring trust in the Isuzu brand, not just in Bacolod, but also in the country.
The grand opening capped off a week-long celebration that began with a vibrant mall tour at SM City Bacolod, where the rugged Isuzu D-Max pickup and the versatile mu-X took center stage. The highlight of the celebration was the grand inauguration of the dealership, where guests were welcomed into a transformed space that blends modern design with customer-centric functionality.

Present during the inauguration of the refreshed Isuzu Bacolod were several key figures, including SAMTC Chief Financial Officer Marc Vincent Tiu, vice president for Sales and Aftersales Mark Joseph Espino, and General & Finance Manager Lester Marcelo Uy. Mr. Jonathan Diaz, Executive Assistant from the Office of Bacolod City Mayor Greg Gasataya, also joined the celebration, expressing optimism about the dealership’s role in driving economic growth and mobility in the region.
The renovated Isuzu Bacolod dealership spans 3,000 square meters and offers ample room for upgraded amenities & services. The showroom, meanwhile, spans 374 square meters and now features a sleek front fascia, along with ample display space to showcase three light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and one commercial vehicle (CV).
It also has a new Customer and Sales Lounge that provides a more comfortable and engaging environment where clients can discuss vehicle options, financing, and services in a relaxed, professional setting. Meanwhile, the relocated Body Repair Shop streamlines workflow and reduces turnaround time for repairs, which ensures faster service delivery. Last but not least, the renovated Service Area, which spans 1,612 square meters, is brighter and better ventilated for easier operations. It has service bays for 15 LCVs and one light to medium-duty truck.

“We at IPC are honored to celebrate an incredible milestone with Isuzu Bacolod—60 years after it first opened its doors. Now aligned with IOS standards, Isuzu Bacolod is more equipped to meet the demands of this thriving city. Together with our partner SAMTC, we aim to deliver unmatched sales and aftersales services through the upgraded showroom and customer lounge, as well as the bright and well-ventilated service area,” said Mikio Tsukui, IPC president.
Meanwhile, SAMTC president Marc Vincent Tiu reflected on the dealership's journey.
“Since our founding, we have been unrelenting in our mission to provide reliable vehicles that power Bacolod’s businesses and families. This new IOS dealership is a testament to our commitment to continuously improve—with our customers always at the heart of everything we do,” shared Tiu.
Isuzu Bacolod is one of IPC’s 49 dealerships nationwide, with plans to complete one more facility under its ‘Road to 50’ program. This initiative highlights Isuzu’s commitment to enhancing customer experience and delivering the Isuzu Advantage—a promise of excellent aftersales service to Bacolod and beyond.
