Isuzu PH boosts Talisay City's emergency response with 22 Traviz units
Talisay City receives 22 Isuzu Traviz emergency vehicles

In a move to bolster the local emergency response capabilities, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), through its Isuzu Cebu dealership, turned over 22 brand-new Isuzu Traviz L units with Utility Van body to the City of Talisay Cebu.
The turnover ceremony took place during Mayor Gerald Anthony Gullas' State of the City Address (SOCA), showcasing a commitment to public safety and disaster preparedness. The event was marked by the presence of Vice Mayor Hon. Richard Choy Fernandez Aznar, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, the 22 Punong Barangays, along with their respective councils.

Also in attendance were department heads from Talisay City, representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO), national government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and various People's and Civil Society Organizations.
The ceremony included a formal blessing of the 22 new emergency vehicles, each assigned to a different barangay. These units will play a crucial role in the city’s “Aksyon Agad Rescue Program” which is aimed at enhancing the rapid response capacity of Community First Responders (CFR). Equipped with the Isuzu Traviz, the CFRs will serve as the first point of contact in emergencies, reporting directly to the City Disaster Team and facilitating swift assistance to those in need.

The Isuzu Traviz L features a robust and fuel-efficient 4JA1 engine that is renowned for its durability and reliability. The utility van also has a gross payload capacity of 1,660 kilograms which makes it one of the best in its class, providing ample space and capability for emergency equipment and personnel.
“The Isuzu Traviz is widely chosen for its high payload capacity, dependable engine, and the strong aftersales support we offer. We are proud to be part of Talisay City's initiatives to enhance public safety and emergency response,” said Robert Carlos, IPC Assistant Division Head for Sales.
