Hyundai teases 2025 Stargazer facelift ahead of SE Asia debut
Facelifted Hyundai Stargazer could debut at 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show

It’s only been a few months since the refreshed Hyundai Creta made its way to the Philippine market. And now, it looks like the Korean manufacturer could be on its way to introduce an update to its 7-seater MPV contender soon.
Hyundai Motor Indonesia has released a teaser image of the refreshed Stargazer MPV, showing off a heavily revised exterior with new LED light signatures both front and rear to give the MPV a new sense of identity on the road.

The Stargazer looks like it has followed the Palisade’s design signature with the LED DRLs in front looking more vertical and squarish than the existing model. Even the grille looks more upright and looks to have the same rectangular mesh treatment as the Palisade.
The rear end also seems to have spent quite a long time in the design department, as the taillights occupy less space with the slimmer shape. The rear bumper also looks completely new, with spy pictures suggesting that the license plate holders have been moved in this area instead of the tailgate.

The brand introduced heavy revisions to the dashboard of models such as the Tucson and the Creta in their mid-cycle update, so we’re kinda expecting Hyundai to do the same when it comes to the Stargazer.
As for the engine though, the Stargazer could continue to be powered by the 1.5-liter Smartstream G four-cylinder engine that delivers 115 PS and 144 Nm of torque paired to the brand’s intelligent variable transmission. The Turbo GDi version that the Creta has, on the other hand, could also be a possibility for the Stargazer X.
Hyundai Indonesia is yet to announce the launch date for the refreshed Stargazer. But considering the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show is happening in a few weeks’ time, there’s a possibility that brand could hold the model launch there.
