Hyundai's new N model coming July 15
Hyundai planning to release a new N car and here's what we know so far

Hyundai announced via Twitter that N Day will be happening on July 15. Could we be seeing a new performance car from Hyundai inspired by the Rimac partnership? The Korean car group reportedly invested $84 million USD back in 2019. This was to further the development of high-performance electric batteries and to kick off prototype models for an EV.

Earlier, that partnership teased the Hyundai Vision FK and it was reported that both companies have ended their relationship. But could the lessons from that bear fruit for the Korean car manufacturer?

With the recent introduction of the Ioniq 6, the new N model could be a play of both the 6 and the earlier Ioniq 5. Though no word from the company has been official, the new N may have lighter wheels and a beefier braking system. With Hyundai also owning Kia, the N may also be getting technologies and influences from the Kia EV6 GT . Namely the dual motor all-wheel drive system pumping out 577 hp and 740 Mn of torque and the 77.4 kWh battery. This combination allows for a 0-100 kilometer performance in 3.5 seconds.

Hyundai has also recently axed the Veloster and with N day around the corner, we may be seeing a successor to the Veloster line. We will get to see what the future of the N is with this new model and we will also be getting a sneak peek of the new N bloodline for the Korean company. With all that, we are sure it’s gonna be as hot as Kimchi-Fried rice!
