Hyundai making N Vision 74 Concept into production model
Hyundai confirms plans of putting N Vision 74 into production

When Hyundai gave us first glimpse of the RN22e and N Vision 74 concepts, it felt like Hyundai came back from the future to tell us of exciting days ahead for the Korean manufacturer.
Two years later, and Hyundai has kept its vision for the future. The Korean manufacturer has confirmed plans to put the N Vision 74 concept into a full-blown production model. The car was mentioned as one of its upcoming high performance EVs during its annual CEO and investor day presentation.

When the concept was unveiled at the 2022 Turin Motor Show, the N Vision 74 Concept featured a wedge-shaped silhouette with retro styling that pays homage to the original Hyundai Pony Coupe from 1974.
Back then, the N Vision 74 utilized two different power sources to maximize range and performance – a twin-electric motor setup powered by a 62.4 kWh battery, and a hydrogen fuel cell that delivers a combined 670 PS and 900 Nm of torque.

But considering Hyundai’s success with the high-performance Ioniq 5 N and the lack of mass adoption for hydrogen power in the global market, it looks like Hyundai will instead stick to pure electric propulsion for the production version of the N Vision 74.
Hyundai is yet to release further details with the N Vision 74, but the manufacturer says we can expect the model to be out before 2030. If it’s anything close to a real-life simulator like the Ioniq 5 N is, then expect it to impress once the final product rolls out of the N production line.
