How quick is Toyota's Land Cruiser 300 with twin-turbo V6 diesel?
This particular Land Cruiser was able to go from 0 - 97 km/h in just 7.26 seconds

Earlier last year, we managed to see just how quick is the twin-turbo gasoline V6 of the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser. Despite weighing in at over 2,200 kg, the full-size SUV still managed to get from 0 - 100 km/h in 7 seconds - not bad considering Toyota says it can do it in 6.7 seconds. With 409 PS and 650 Nm of torque, it’s no wonder it was able to do it that quickly.
But just how quick is the twin-turbo diesel V6 of the Land Cruiser 300? Luckily for us, someone was also able to put a diesel-powered Land Cruiser 300 on a dyno. More importantly, they were also able to see just how quick the SUV is from a standstill.

Posted by EKanooRacingTV on YouTube, the diesel-powered Land Cruiser 300 seen in the video is actually a Gazoo Racing Sport model. Despite the cosmetic upgrades, it still comes with the bone-stock 3.3-liter twin-turbo diesel V6. With a claimed 306 PS and 700 Nm of torque from the crank, we were curious just how much power is actually sent to the wheels.
The dyno’s test results showed that the diesel-fed V6 was able to produce 275 PS along with 641 Nm of torque to the wheels. Considering the 10% powertrain loss rule that vehicles get from dyno results, the Land Cruiser’s diesel V6 produces plenty of power.

As to how fast it can put the power down, the Land Cruiser 300 was able to go from 0 - 97 km/h in 7.26 seconds. It was also able to finish the quarter-mile in 15.37 seconds at a speed of around 143 km/h. Not bad for an SUV that weighs over 2,200 kg.
