How many 2024 CR-V units does Honda PH plan to sell monthly?
Honda estimates that 30 percent of CR-V sales will be for eHEV variant and the remaining 70 percent for VTEC Turbo models

Yesterday, Honda Cars PH Inc (HCPI) officially revealed the all-new CR-V to the country. Now on its sixth generation, the C-segment crossover is not only bigger and more high-tech, but it now has the e:HEV RS hybrid model along with VTEC Turbo engines for the VX and V variants.
In addition, the next-generation CR-V is now available with Honda Connect as standard which provides extra peace of mind to owners aside from Honda Sensing. Not only does it allow drivers to monitor the vehicle’s health via a smartphone app, but users can also locate the vehicle should they have trouble finding it in a large parking lot, as well as remote control certain features of the vehicle.
Should the owner be involved in an accident while behind the wheel of the CR-V, the Honda Connect app can also contact emergency services as soon as possible in order to provide necessary aid.

But with a price tag that starts at PHP 2.1 million, the all-new CR-V has also become more expensive than ever. However, the CR-V has already developed a great reputation in the country and has become a household name in the Philippines since its introduction in 1997. It has been in the market for over 25 years and has proven itself to be one of Honda’s popular vehicles.
So just how many units of the 2024 CR-V does HCPI plan on selling per month? Well, according to HCPI General Manager Atty. Louie Soriano, they are looking at shifting around 300 units monthly. But which variant (or variants) of the next-generation crossover does the executive think will be the best-seller?
“We’re looking at 300 units per month. And the ratio is about 30% for the CR-V e:HEV and 70% for the VTEC Turbo variants,” said Soriano.

It looks like Honda already expects that the 1.5 Turbo V and 1.5 Turbo VX AWD will be the more popular choice amongst potential buyers. So why bring the e:HEV CR-V to begin with? Well, Soriano believes now is the right time to get back into the hybrid market.
“This is not our first hybrid model in the country. Several years ago, we had the CR-Z and the Legend which used to serve as our flagship hybrid offering. It is set to deliver outstanding value & performance, as well as exceptional efficiency,” added Soriano.
Despite the higher price tag, Honda still believes that the CR-V will still be one of their popular offerings in the country besides the other nameplates like the BR-V, City, Brio, Civic, and HR-V, amongst others.
Do you think Honda will be able to sell 300 units monthly of the 2024 CR-V? Let us know in the comments what you think.
