Hongqi expands EV lineup in PH with EH7, EHS7
EH7, EHS7 EVs by Hongqi debut with sleek looks, high-tech features, and up to 610 PS

As electric vehicles (EVs) continue to grow in popularity, Hongqi Philippines has decided to expand its lineup of EVs. Recently, the automaker inaugurated its latest showroom, Hongqi Manila Bay, located at the Four E-com Center at the MOA Complex in Pasay City. Here, the automaker launched not one, but two new EVs.

Say hello to the 2025 Hongqi EH7 and EHS7, two all-electric vehicles that are sleek, packed to the brim with features, and can go the distance. Both the EH7 midsize sedan and EHS7 midsize crossover SUV are available with a pair of electric motors that deliver AWD capability and a combined system output of 610 PS and 756 Nm of torque. This allows the EH7 to catapult itself from 0 - 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, while the EHS7 can do it in 3.9 seconds.

There are also single-motor RWD versions of the EH7 and EHS7, which produce 344 PS and 450 Nm of torque. The RWD variants of the EH7 and EHS7 both come with an 85 kWh battery pack. The RWD EH7 can travel up to 510 km on a full charge, while the EHS7 is rated to reach up to 475 km.
As for the AWD models, they come with a 111 kWh battery pack. On a full charge, Hongqi claims the EH7 is capable of covering up to 650 km while the EHS7 has an estimated range of up to 540 km. Also impressive is the fact that both EVs support fast DC charging, which can recharge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes.

Style-wise, both units have been reimagined from the ground up with the all-new visual design language. It features sharper, smoother lines and a profile that highlights the flow of motion even while standing still. Other design highlights include a panoramic glass roof with 99% UV protection, flush door handles with electric suction, and soundproof front door glass that enhances cabin quietness.

When it comes to peace of mind, the EH7 and EHS7 come with sophisticated technology in the form of intelligent safety technologies. That means both vehicles come with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with Level 2 autonomy, which include automatic emergency braking, a 360-degree camera system, and parking assist.
