Honda wins 6 awards at ASEAN NCAP's 10th anniversary
Honda wins across multiple categories at ASEAN NCAP 10th anniversary event

Honda has proven once again just how safe its new generation of vehicles is.
During the 10th anniversary celebration of the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia Countries (ASEAN-NCAP), Honda received multiple awards - making them the most awarded manufacturer from the event. This achievement highlights the automaker’s commitment to making the roads safe for everyone.

Over the last 10 years, Honda has had 8 models tested at ASEAN NCAP, all of which received top marks in safety. In line with the 10-year anniversary, ASEAN NCAP announced various Decades of Vehicle Awards recognitions to several automakers. But out of all the participating brands, Honda was the most successful with a total of 6 awards.
The award for Best Forward Facing Child Occupant Protection 2017 - 2020 went to the all-new Honda Accord. Meanwhile, the Safety Technology Award was given to the 2021 Honda Civic thanks to its autonomous emergency braking (AEB) feature for motorcycles. Next, the 3rd - 5th generation City shared an award with the 9th - 11th generation Civic for being consistent 5-star performers in ASEAN NCAP’s battery of tests.

Aside from those awards, Honda also received two more awards for the brand itself. These included ’The Most 5-star Car 2012 - 2016’ (Adult Occupant Protection), and ‘Best Road Safety Partner’.
Almost all Honda vehicles have received a 5-star safety rating (except for the 2016 Brio and Brio Amaze which only received 4-stars.). For Honda, this reiterates their commitment to providing safer vehicles, as well as leading efforts to realize zero traffic collision fatalities involving Honda motorcycles and vehicles globally by 2050.

With these awards, Honda is committed to ensuring that all of its future vehicles will be safe and provide protection not only to the occupants, but also to motorcycles, other vehicles, and pedestrians.
