Honda to reveal Prelude interior at Japanese F1 GP pre-event
Honda's much awaited sports coupe to participate in Japanese F1 GP festivities

The upcoming Japanese Grand Prix will serve as the debut of home hero Yuki Tsunoda with the Red Bull Racing F1 Team. But before that happens, Honda’s home race will also be an event to showcase its upcoming hybrid sports coupe, the Prelude.
Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has announced that they will unveil the interior of the Prelude prototype at one of the pre-events in the Japanese Grand Prix weekend. Specifically, the coupe’s interior will be shown at the Red Bull Showrun in Odaiba, Tokyo on April 2.
While the event will be centered around F1 cars, Japanese royalty will also be present as Her Imperial Highness Princess Yoko will be there with Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike scheduled to attend as a guest. Apart from the Prelude prototype, the Honda 0 SUV will also serve as a parade vehicle in the event.
Currently, the Prelude prototype is using the Civic’s interior as development is ongoing. It will be interesting to see how Honda’s “simplicity and something” design philosophy will be executed for the first Prelude model in over a decade.
Likewise, the Prelude prototype will be exhibited at the F1 Tokyo Fan Festival 2025 held on April 2 and April 4-6.
