Honda Civic Type R FK8 no longer on PH website
Source says they have already sold all remaining stocks of the Honda Civic Type R

If you're looking to buy a brand new FK8 Civic Type R at your nearest Honda dealership, you're fresh out of luck. After browsing the Honda Cars PH website, the automaker has seemingly dropped the Civic Type R from their lineup.
This comes as a surprise since the automaker only launched it last year. Does this mean the all-new Honda Civic Type R (codename FL5) is on its way? According to a Honda Cars Philippines Inc (HCPI) executive who wished for anonymity, that's not exactly the case.

According to the executive, the Civic Type R FK8 is no longer listed since they already sold the remaining stocks of the hot hatchback. With no remaining units left, HCPI decided to remove the Civic Type R from their lineup and price list.
As for when the all-new FL5 Civic Type R will arrive in the Philippines, our source said that there's no word yet regarding its arrival. Combined with the fact that deliveries for the all-new hot hatch will take more than 6 months, it could mean we will have to wait a little longer before it gets here.

Should you be in the market for the FK8 Civic Type R, the only way you could get one is via the second-hand market. But given most owners cherish the hot hatchback, you'd be hard-pressed to find someone willing to part with it.
