Honda City celebrates 30 years in PH with Pearl Anniversary Edition

Believe it or not, the Honda City has been in the Philippines since 1996. In fact, Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) recently announced that as of 2026, the automaker has sold more than 150,000 units since the sedan first debuted in the country.

To mark the City's 30^th year in the country, HCPI launched the 30^th Anniversary Pearl Edition last weekend, alongside the debut of the 2026 CR-V. The special edition model is available for both the sedan and hatchback variants and comes with unique exterior upgrades.

The sedan version is based on the City 1.5 S CVT and gets additional black accents on the side mirror caps, door handles, front grille, and alloy wheels. It's also painted in Platinum White Pearl, which serves as a nice contrast to the blacked-out exterior accents. Last but not least is a 30^th Anniversary Pearl Edition badge on the trunk lid to remind everyone this is no ordinary City.

Those who prefer something with more style can get the City Hatchback, which gets a sportier look for its 30^th anniversary. It gets red accents on the front foglight bezels, a front under spoiler, and a front center garnish on the bumper for a more aggressive look. The hatchback is also equipped with a tailgate spoiler garnish, an extended rear bumper, a rear under spoiler, and an exhaust pipe finisher to round up its sporty accessories. And just like the sedan, the hatchback gets a 30^th Anniversary Pearl Edition on the tailgate and is finished in Platinum White Pearl.

City 1.5 S CVT with Honda Sensing retails for PHP 1,039,000 while the City Hatchback 1.5 RS CVT with Honda Sensing has a sticker price of PHP 1,279,000. However, HCPI is offering special deals for the Anniversary Pearl Edition models called “Smart Start Deals”. Here, buyers can get either the hatchback or sedan with more flexible payment options via BPI, RCBC, and Security Bank.

For a limited time, customers may avail of 15% all-in low down payment for as low as PHP 30, 0% interest on the first year (BPI exclusive), and a cash promo for as much as PHP 60,000.
