Here's what you get inside the 2023 Maserati GranTurismo

After the launch of the all-new Maserati GranTurismo late last year and information about its powertrains and a few exterior features were revealed, very little else came out from Turin, Italy about the second-generation grand tourer.

Today, the automaker gives us new angled shots showing exterior details and accents, but more importantly, it includes numerous photos showing how the marque pulled off this plush 2+2 cabin configuration while still fitting it with premium amenities and features.

GranTurismo Modena

To recall, the Maserati GranTurismo has three trim levels, the Modena, Trofeo, and the Folgore. The first two have a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that makes 496 PS in the Modena and 557 PS in the Trofeo. The Folgore is an EV with three electric motors getting power from a 92.5 kWh 800-volt battery to make 761 PS.

Inside, it shares the dashboard layout with its Grecale SUV sibling, including the three-spoke multifunction steering wheel (with a Start/Stop button and manettino-style rotating drive mode dial), albeit with more high-quality materials and visible stitching on the dashboard and door panels. Other cabin details include inserts, chrome accents, the visible Trident emblem on each of the four integrated headrests, the Granturismo badge on the dashboard (passenger side), the Italian flag next to the climate vents, and the hidden “Since 1914” lettering on the side moldings.

GranTurismo Trofeo

Distinguishing between the three variants is easy. The Modena has beige-black leather upholstery with wood inserts, the Trofeo uses a black theme with red stitching and carbon fiber, and the Folgore has blue-white upholstery and a one-of-a-kind dashboard design.

In front of the driver is a 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster, while the center stack has a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. An additional 8.8-inch touchscreen in the center console handles climate control, and Maserati claims – despite the touch feature – it is the ‘fastest’ system in the market. Audio then goes through a 1,195-watt Sonus Faber sound system with 19 speakers.

GranTurismo Folgore

The execution of the 2+2 layout appears spacious and seems to offer ample amount of elbow-, head-, and legroom to passengers, but we still have to take it with a grain of salt as photos may not really show the roominess of these cabins and it also depends on the size of the occupants.

With the MC20 now available in the Philippines, perhaps it will only be a matter of time before the all-new GranTurismo also makes its way to the country. However, there's a possibility the Grecale may arrive first before the grand tourer.
