HCPI launches website for Honda Certified Pre-Owned cars

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) just made it even easier to sell pre-loved Honda cars.

The ‘Honda Certified Pre-Owned’ website was launched to allow owners to sell their Honda vehicles directly to other customers on a platform run by HCPI itself, ensuring a reliable and convenient experience for both buyer and seller.

Every owner must have their vehicle undergo either the Verified Care or Certified Plus certification to be eligible for listing on the website. Launched earlier this year, the Verified Care and Certified Plus programs give owners the opportunity to get the most value out of their vehicles.

The Verified Care certification entails having at least one (1) Periodic Maintenance Service visit a year for three (3) years, so certification may be awarded on the third year. On the other hand, the Certified Plus certification entails a 288-point quality inspection, repairs using 100% Honda genuine parts and lubricants, and the issuance of Quality Certification. Once either of these processes have been done, the used Honda Vehicle can then be posted on the website.

This assures potential buyers of the quality of the unit they are looking to purchase. The Certified Plus Certification can be availed at all Luzon & Metro Manila dealerships, while remaining VisMin dealerships will follow soon.

Through this website, HCPI aims to provide both sellers and customers with the peace of mind and convenience of bridging the customer-to-customer experience. With this streamlined process, there will no longer be a need to browse third party websites to purchase a pre-loved Honda vehicle. Interested buyers will also be assured that HCPI recognizes and verifies the quality of the unit seen on the platform.

Additionally, buyers and sellers will both receive vouchers from HCPI for each successful transaction on the Honda Certified Pre-Owned website. Sellers will receive a New Car Purchase voucher that can be redeemed at any Honda Cars dealership. This can be applied on top of other existing offers. On the other hand, buyers will receive a Periodic Maintenance Service voucher.
