GR Heritage Parts reissues Toyota Supra A80 dashboard
The GR Heritage Parts Project has reissued a dashboard for the Supra A80

As more automakers embrace heritage programs, the push to reproduce and reissue specialized parts comes as welcome news for restorers and enthusiasts.
A prime example is the GR Heritage Parts Project, which focuses on bringing discontinued service parts back as new, genuine components. To date, the initiative has reproduced and reissued over 300 parts across eight vehicle models.

Set for release later this year, the GR Heritage Parts Project has reissued a dashboard for the Toyota Supra A80 (AKA MkIV Supra). This marks a significant step forward for enthusiasts who have long struggled to source aging interior components, particularly dashboards, which are prone to cracking and deterioration over time.
What’s great is that Toyota isn’t simply reproducing old stock. The new panel stays true to the original design while incorporating modern materials and manufacturing techniques for improved longevity.

Unlike most interior plastics, dashboards are constantly exposed to harsh UV rays through the windshield, often leading to warping, shrinkage, and cracks over time, issues commonly seen in aging A80 Supras.
This updated unit addresses those concerns with enhanced durability, while faithfully recreating the original embossed grain finish, right down to its texture direction, for a factory-correct appearance once installed.

The new instrument panel will debut at Automobile Council 2026 from April 10 to 12 at Makuhari Messe, alongside a restored Toyota A80 Supra, a rebuilt Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86, and the Lexus LFA, which, while not part of the program, reflects the brand’s long-term support philosophy for enthusiast cars.
For Supra purists and collectors alike, this move signals something bigger: Toyota isn’t just honoring its past, it’s actively investing in keeping it alive.
