Geely unveils cute (and boxy) 2023 Panda Mini EV
2023 Panda Mini EV from Geely has 40 horsepower and a 150-kilometer range

Geely is jumping into the urban electric vehicle (EV) market with all paws by launching the 2023 Panda Mini EV in the city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province of China.
To attract the young market, the vehicle was unveiled in a shopping center with the backdrop of a pink setup complete with balloons, panda figures, and two models of the 2023 Panda Mini EV in pink and light blue exterior colors.

It measures 3,605 mm long, 1,522 mm wide, and 1,600 mm tall, and has a 2,015 mm wheelbase. The front fascia sports a flat front with the word Geome (which probably stands for Geometry, one of the sub-brands of Geely) in the middle round LED headlamps on either side. The side mirrors are colored black to mimic panda ears, while the wheels sport a three-paw design.

This four-seater EV has a panoramic sunroof, a pink dashboard with an off-center infotainment touchscreen, a stretched digital instrument cluster, and a lot of storage compartments.
Under the hood is a single front-mounted electric motor that makes 40 PS. It uses a lithium-iron-phosphate battery that gives it a 150-kilometer range.

The 2023 Geely Panda Mini EV is priced between ¥40,000 and ¥50,000 ($5,760 – $7,200). The high-end price directly converts to PHP 401,374, but remember, that’s without import fees and duties. Since it is an EV, it does not get an excise tax.

It is small, cute, and a perfect counter for rising fuel prices and small metro side streets. Will Geely PH bring it over? Your guess is as good as mine.
