Gas, diesel prices on the rise again
Price of fuel goes back up after two weeks of rollbacks

Fuel prices are on their way up after just two short weeks of reductions that saw the price of gasoline go down by Php 3.30, diesel by Php 2.20, and kerosene by Php 4.65.
As early as Black Saturday, several media outlets have already reported that forecasts are showing an increase in fuel prices by tomorrow, April 19 – Php 1.80 for diesel and Php 0.50 for gasoline.

Unioil and Facebook page PH Fuel Watch confirmed as much over the weekend, and just now, Pilipinas Shell, Seaoil, and CleanFuel have announced their respective price hikes. All petroleum companies will add Php 0.45 to every liter of gasoline and Php 1.70 to every liter of diesel. The price of kerosene will also go up by Php 0.45 per liter.

Early advisories give motorists a heads-up so they can fuel up accordingly to ease the burden of these price surges.
Other oil companies are expected to follow suit and announce their respective price hikes within the day.
