GAC PH posts 244% sales growth, 15 dealers operational by July
GAC Motor PH on track to have 20 locations before year ends, GS8 leads huge sales performance

Despite undergoing new management changes when it became part of Astara Philippines’ portfolio, GAC Motor Philippines was able to achieve a sales growth milestone, while expanding its dealer network.
Aside from confirming the arrival of the all-new GS3 Emzoom, GAC Motor PH recently announced that they were able to post an all-time best year-to-date sales increase of 244%. The record sales performance from January to May was led by the continued strength in demand for the all-new GS8 flagship SUV which was just launched earlier this year.

In fact, GAC brand head Jun Cajayon shared with us that over 30% of the sales are attributed to the GS8. Other GAC vehicles that helped the automaker achieve its record sales performance are the GS4, the GN6 7-seater MPV, and the Empow sedan.
“Our tremendous sales growth in the last five months is being driven by the terrific customer response to our latest vehicles, which offer the best value for money in the market today. This growth momentum proves that more and more Filipinos are embracing the GAC Motor brand and appreciating the high-quality, reliability, and fine craftsmanship of our vehicles,” said Cajayon.
Besides posting a record sales achievement, GAC Motor PH also shared that they will be opening more locations across the country. Come July of this year, Cajayon announced that they will have 15 dealers operational.

The 15 dealerships are located in Alabang, Bacoor, Batangas City, Butuan, Cainta, Davao, E. Rodriguez Ave., Iloilo, Lipa City, Makati, Manila Bay, Pampanga, Pasig, Quezon Avenue, and Tarlac. Two more locations – Bacolod and Cebu – are slated to open in the third quarter of this year, which will result in a total number of 17 dealerships by then.
Before the year ends, GAC says that they are on track to have 20 locations in total. In addition, they could have over 20 dealerships if plans go accordingly.

“Since January, we have been focused on further expanding our dealer network to ensure even greater convenience for both our existing and new customers. From six dealer locations in January, we are growing to 15 fully-operational dealerships by July, putting us right on track to achieving our target of 20 dealerships by year-end,” added Cajayon.
With GAC Motor PH set to launch the brand-new GS3 and open more dealers in the coming months, the automaker may achieve yet another sales milestone before 2023 ends.
