Fuel update: Gas up PHP 1, diesel down 10 centavos
Rise in prices of Brent crude oil and U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude affect gas, diesel, and kerosene prices

Gas goes up, while diesel and kerosene go down (a bit) when fuel price adjustments are implemented by various fuel providers starting at six in the morning tomorrow.
Three fuel companies have identical advisories regarding the movement of fuel prices on March 14, 2023. The latest release from CleanFuel indicates that gasoline will go up by PHP 1, diesel will roll back by PHP 0.10, and kerosene drops by PHP 0.60.
Pilipinas Shell and Seaoil have the earliest implementation of the fuel price adjustments at 6:00 AM. CleanFuel will keep last week’s price until 4:00 PM tomorrow.
This week’s fuel price movement is affected by the rise of oil prices in the world market. Brent crude went up by $1.19 and is now $82.78 per barrel, a 1.5% increase. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude is at $76.68 per barrel after implementing a 96-cent increase, up 1.3%.
Better top-up if you are driving gas-powered models while diesel customers shouldn’t be too bothered by this week’s price movement.
