Ford, Red Bull tie-up will also result in an EV road car
This Ford EV will get its aerodynamic body from Red Bull's design team

By now, it's already known that the Red Bull-Ford partnership is happening in F1. With new technical regulations set to take effect in 2026, the technical tie-up will see the two companies develop a next-generation power unit to supply both the Red Bull and AlphaTauri teams from 2026 until at least 2030.

The relationship dynamics give Red Bull significant oversight of the core combustion engine in their Milton Keynes facility while Ford will drive the hybrid side of things.
But apparently, this joint venture may also result in an exciting Ford road car we can watch out for in the future.

According to Ford CEO Jim Farley, both companies are already working on a “strategically important” EV that will utilize Red Bull's aerodynamic expertise.
The term “strategically important” is such a vague one to begin with, as Farley could be pertaining to either a volume production model or another halo car that will be sold in limited quantities. As we all know, Red Bull's most recent tie-up in developing a road car resulted in the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar.
Are we about to see an EV successor of the Ford GT designed by Adrian Newey? That's something we'll find out soon.
