Ford PH has removed Territory Trend from lineup
Only the top-of-the-line variant of the Territory is available

Buyers who are planning to get an all-new Territory might be surprised to see that there is now only one variant available of the crossover.
While we were checking out Ford Philippines' website, we noticed in the price list that the only Territory variant available is the top-of-the-line Titanium+ CVT which currently sells for PHP 1.310 million. That means the slightly more affordable Trend CVT (which used to retail for PHP 1.277 million) model is no longer on sale.
Ford has not yet released any information or statement as to why the Trend variant of the Territory has been (quietly) axed from the local lineup. However, one of the possible reasons the Trend variant is no longer available is the fact that there may no longer be units of it in the country. It could also mean the Blue Oval is optimizing its model lineup of the Territory in the country as the Titanium+ has been quite popular with consumers.

Another possible reason is that Ford Philippines could be preparing for the debut of the all-new Territory. The automaker recently held its ASEAN debut in Vietnam two weeks ago. Now based on the Equator Sport, the next-generation crossover now comes with the brand's global DNA design language, hence its more sculpted look. Moreover, it gets a more high-tech interior courtesy of a dual digital display and more standard amenities.
With Vietnam also a left-hand drive (LHD) country like the Philippines, we cannot help but think that we might get the all-new Ford Territory from our ASEAN neighbor. If that is indeed the case, Ford might be also finishing off its inventory of the Titanium+ in preparation for an all-new model. Let's wait and see what Ford is actually doing with regard to the popular Territory nameplate in the Philippines.
