Ford brings back 90s era gauges for 60th anniversary Mustang
Ford adds indiglo gauges for Mustang 60th anniversary edition's digital instrument panel

The Blue Oval’s pony car has officially turned 60 this year, and Ford has decided to make the celebration a throwback-themed party.
Ford has released a special 60th anniversary edition of the 7th generation Mustang, and it’s rocking the colors, badges, and features of what made its predecessors great.

The appearance package for the 60th anniversary edition is only limited to 1,965 units as a tribute to the Mustang’s first official model year. Looks-wise, the 60th anniversary units come in either Wimbledon White, Race Red, Vapor Blue, and the Brittany Blue color that was offered only for a limited time. The Mustang 60th anniversary model is being offered in both fastback and convertible body styles, but the Brittany Blue color is only limited to the fastback body.
Other exterior highlights include a new mesh grille, smoked headlights, retro side graphics, 20-inch wheels finished in Dark Gravity Gray with machined details and Vermillion Red center caps, anniversary badges on the fenders and trunk, as well as a 60th anniversary plaque with the serial number on the instrument panel.
Along with the special exterior trims, the Mustang is equipped with the 401A package, active exhaust, Brembo brakes, limited-slip rear differential, a 12-speaker audio system from Bang&Olufsen, and a choice of gray, red, or black on the interior.

All 2024 Mustangs get the Heritage digital gauge cluster with the retro dials inspired from the 1967 Mustang, but the 60th anniversary edition goes back to the 90s with a special white face and icy blue dials inspired by the Mustang SVT Cobra.
Under the hood, the 60th anniversary edition Mustang is solely available with the 5.0-liter V8 that generates 493 PS and 567 Nm of torque mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox or a 6-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels.

Here’s to hoping Ford Philippines can shift some of the 1,965 units for Philippine consumption. But in case they don’t, the gauges would really come as a nice update to the standard GT Premium models.
