For Pre-Owned Buyers: This FB group posts crashed cars in PH
Facebook group posts crashed cars just in case you're making a pre-owned purchase

Whether it’s pre-owned or brand-new, any car purchase will be a major milestone for an individual or a family. Even more so, if it was paid with hard-earned money. But what if you found out your pre-owned car is actually hiding a dark secret?
Well, there’s a Facebook page that could actually uncover those for you. We came across this page called “Nabangga na ba?” (Has it crashed?), where the page admins publicly post cars in the Philippines that have along with their plate numbers. We decided to blur out the plates for our website, but their Facebook page bares it all.

According to the description of the page, it’s dedicated to second hand car buyers in making sure that the pre-owned car they’re buying really had no history of an accident. Not all the posted cars in the page are on sale in the marketplace for as far as we know. But just in case those cars hit the market, the page wants to serve as a reference as plate numbers are searchable on the page.

There are some cheeky car sellers that do like to post that a vehicle hasn't figured in an accident, and those in the buy and sell business won’t like it if they find their units posted on the page.
Cosmetic damage or fender benders are normal, but what if a car was involved in something more serious where it would have been considered as a "total wreck", yet somehow it's sitting on a second hand car lot looking fresh as ever? Any buyer won’t be amused with the seller it if wasn't disclosed that a newly bought second hand unit was in a major accident.
It will always be a gamble to purchase a second-hand car since you won’t know if the seller is totally being honest about its issues, and its history. So practice due diligence before sealing the deal. And for sellers of dodgy units, remember honesty is always the best policy. Let’s all play fair.
