First batch of 2022 Kia Carnival now in PH
Kia Philippines is now accepting reservations for the 2022 Carnival

After making its world debut in August 2020, the fourth-generation Kia Carnival will soon make its official debut in the Philippines. Better yet, Kia Philippines recently announced that the first batch of minivans has already arrived.

Set to be available in dealerships in Q1 2022, the all-new minivan adopts a more SUV-like appearance. Dubbed by Kia as a ‘Grand Utility Vehicle’ its new chiseled looks give the minivan a bolder and more sculpted look.
From its new front end and SUV-inspired rear, the 2022 Carnival is a far cry from its predecessor. It also gets what Kia describes as an ‘island roof’ design, an eye-catching new C-pillar, and a subtle diamond pattern reflected throughout the body that they call a ‘symphonic architecture’.

Pictures of its interior have yet to be revealed. However, Kia Philippines did mention that it will be available with a power tailgate, power sliding rear doors, ottomans for the second-row seats, an automated sunroof, and touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
Powertrain details are not yet available. However, the PH-spec model will likely come with a 2.2-liter turbo-diesel engine derived from the Kia Sorento. In other markets, the turbo-diesel makes 202 PS along with 440 Nm of torque. The engine will then be connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Other details about the 2022 Kia Carnival, such as pricing and available colors, will be revealed soon. Those interested in getting Kia’s brand new minivan can now reserve a unit via their website or at the Kia dealership nearest them.
