Expect heavy traffic along EDSA due to ‘Trillion Peso March III’

The Quezon City government has announced partial and total road closures in the vicinity of the People Power Monument along EDSA due to the Trillion Peso March III organized by Caritas Philippines and other civil society groups.
According to QC LGU, the affected roads will be EDSA, Katipunan Avenue, Ortigas Avenue, While Plains Avenue, and Temple Drive.

In preparation for the activity, a zipper lane scheme will be implemented along White Plains Avenue, between EDSA and Katipunan Avenue, from 9:00 PM on February 24 until 6:00 AM on February 25, 2026. White Plains Avenue will then be temporarily closed on the day of the rally, February 25, starting at 6:00 AM
Personnel from the Traffic and Transport Management Department (TTMD), the Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS), Task Force Disiplina, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will be deployed in the area to manage the anticipated increase in traffic volume and ensure public safety.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes and plan their trips accordingly. Or better yet, postpone your trip to a later date when possible.
