EV versions of Peugeot 3008 and 5008 confirmed
e-3008 and e-5008 will join Peugeot's e-208, e-308, and e-2008

It's not only hybrid vehicles that Peugeot will be focusing on. In the future, they will expand their lineup of electric vehicles (EVs) that already consist of the e-208, e-308, and e-2008 crossover.
Aside from announcing their plans to make every Peugeot vehicle electrified in 2023, the French automaker also revealed that they will be launching EV versions of the 3008 and 5008. That's right, Peugeot's compact crossover will soon be available with an all-electric powertrain.

Peugeot said that the next EV they will be launching will be the e-3008 which will be revealed in the second half of 2023. No exact details have been revealed just yet but the automaker did say that it will have 3 electric powertrains, a dual-motor option, and a range of up to 700 km. In addition, the e-3008 will be the first car launched with the new state-of-the-art STLA Medium platform from Stellantis.
As for the e-5008, that will follow shortly after and will most likely come with similar electric powertrains, the STLA Medium Platform, and the aforementioned 700 km of range. However, expect it to be longer than the 3008 and come with an additional row of seats in the back.

With the e-2008 already serving as Peugeot's first electric crossover, the upcoming e-3008 and e-5008 will broaden the brand's lineup of zero-emissions vehicles. Here's to hoping that Peugeot Philippines will bring them here to the country soon now that the tariff on EVs has been temporarily removed after President Marcos Jr. signed Executive Order No. 12 (E.O. 12).
After the e-3008 and e-5008, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more upcoming EVs from Peugeot.
