End of an era: Final Aventador rolls off Lamborghini assembly line
Aventador LP780-4 is the last-ever pure V12 made by Lamborghini

Lamborghini wanted to properly send off its glorious naturally-aspirated V12 with the Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae. However, their first attempt at a proper farewell ended up with 15 units of the Ultimae sinking with the Felicity Ace cargo ship.
For something so iconic and special, that's simply unacceptable. So instead, Bologna restarted its Aventador factory and made new ones. Fast forward five months later, and this may probably be it – the final Aventador has rolled off the factory line.

The final unit is an LP780-4 Ultimae Roadster, painted in a special light blue color from the Ad Personam program. Luckily now, the final unit won't need to cross the Atlantic, as it's destined for the Swiss market.

As mentioned, this is the last pure naturally-aspirated V12 that will ever come out of the Lamborghini factory in Bologna, signaling the end of an era for the Aventador that had a successful 11-year run as Lamborghini's flagship supercar.

Throughout its model run, Lamborghini has made 8 model derivatives and 11,465 units of the Aventador. In addition, there were also over 10 one-off limited edition models which set track records, won numerous awards, and were featured in many films and video games. In fact, the Aventador will bow out as the best-selling Lamborghini V12, outselling its predecessor, the Murcielago, by more than double the units.
Arrivederci, Aventador.
