Emicor powers up first DC Fast Charger for EVs in Baguio City
Emicor installs Tritium RTM 75kW DC Fast Charger in SM City Baguio carpark; you can now go to Baguio and back with your EV.

The number of electric vehicle charging stations are starting to rise just as EVs slowly start to go mainstream in the country. While most of the charging stations can be found in areas near and within Metro Manila, EV charging stations are now starting to be put up in other key locations.

Just recently, Emicor, Inc. has partnered with SM City Baguio to offer Level 3 DC Fast Charging to EV owners going to the Summer Capital. The company says it's the first-ever Level 3 DC Fast Charger to be put up in a commercial mall in the Philippines.
Emicor, Inc. installed a Tritium RTM 75 kW DC Fast Charger at the carpark of SM City Baguio. With a charging rate of 50 kW to 100 kW, the DC Fast Charger is capable of juicing up EV batteries to almost full state within 20 minutes to 1 hour.

The DC Fast Charger is single-person operable and is a modular power unit type, which means it can be easily changed in the field for faster maintenance and improved uptime. Other features of the DC Fast Charger include CCS1/CCS2 and CHAdeMO connectors with simultaneous charging, and an IP65-rated sealed enclosure to operate in temperatures ranging from -35°C to +50°C.

With the establishment of another charging station at Baguio City, EV owners can now say goodbye to range anxiety as they can easily plug their cars while having a relaxing time at the Summer Capital.
Emicor Inc. is an authorized reseller and installer of Tritium RTM chargers. Since 1971, Emicor Inc. has been a solution provider for automotive services and the downstream oil industry with decades of experience in the automotive services industry, fuel measurement solutions, and parking solutions.
