Electric Luxury: Mercedes-Benz PH launches 2024 EQA, EQB and EQE
Mercedes-Benz Philippines is the latest premium brand to offer fully electric vehicles

We may have waited a bit longer than expected, but finally it has happened.
Mercedes-Benz Philippines is joining the likes of Porsche, Audi and BMW as the premium German brands offering fully electric models in the country, and they are doing it by introducing not just one, not two, but three new EVs.
Making its Philippine market debut are the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQA, EQB and EQE models. The three highlights the brand's aim to provide sustainable luxury across different segments.

For starters, the EQA serves as Mercedes-Benz PH's smallest electric crossover. Essentially it's the zero-emissions counterpart of the GLA, featuring a sporty exterior and an elegant interior design.
Offered solely in the EQA 250 Electric Art variant, the EQA sports a black panel grille that houses the trademark Mercedes-Benz central star. It is flanked by a pair of LED high performance headlights with a full-width light strip to make up its front lighting signature. It wears 19-inch 5 spoke wheels that add to its sporty character.

Inside, the EQA offers up to 64 different colors in its ambient lighting. The all-digital cockpit has the latest MBUX infotainment system that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Other interior features include rose gold accents on the air vents, Thermotronic automatic climate control and two-tone Artico leather seats.
In terms of propulsion, the EQA has a single electric motor that delivers 190 PS and 385 Nm of torque. The 66.5 kWh battery offers a maximum range of up to 496 km using the WLTP cycle.

The EQB, on the other hand, is Mercedes-Benz PH's electric crossover that offers seating for 7. Based on the GLB crossover, the EQB takes up the generous space and flexibility of its ICE counterpart, but with the added benefit of zero-emissions motoring.
Like the EQA, the EQB is offered in the EQB 250 Electric Art guise, and comes with the same 190 PS / 385 Nm single motor setup driving the front wheels. It also features intelligent driving assistance systems such as active lane keep assist, active steering assist and active brake assist, among others.

Meanwhile, the third electric Mercedes-Benz is the EQE executive sedan. Offered in two variants: the EQE 300 Electric Art and 350+ AMG Line, the EQE arrives as the electric alternative to the midsize E-Class sedan.
The former is powered by an 89 kWh battery pack that offers up to 621 km of range using the WLTP cycle while the EQE 350+ AMG gets a bigger 90.56 kWh battery, giving greater range at 682 km.

All three Mercedes-Benz electric models are now available for viewing at all Mercedes-Benz showrooms in the country, with test drives offered on September 21 to 24, 2023 in the Alabang, BGC and Greenhills dealerships. Mercedes-Benz Cebu will likewise hold a test drive event for the EQ models but will be held at September 28 to October 1, 2023.
The Mercedes-Benz EQ models are being offered at the following introductory prices:
2024 Mercedes-Benz EQA 250 Electric Art – PHP 3,990,000
2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 250 Electric Art – PHP 4,190,000
2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE 300 Electric Art – PHP 5,590,000
2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ AMG Line – PHP 6,290,000
