EasyTrip users will be allowed to enroll on AutoSweep Jan 15
EasyTrip users will be able to use SMC Tollways with AutoSweep system without having to get another RFID sticker

Motorists who frequently use SLEX, NLEX, C5 Link, CAVITEX, CALAX, MCX, SCTEX, NAIAX, STAR Tollway, Skyway, and TPLEX will soon be able to use every expressway with just one RFID sticker.

SMC Infrastructure has announced that starting January 15, 2023, those with EasyTrip RFID may now enroll in the AutoSweep system. That means motorists that use EasyTrip for NLEX, SCTEX, CALAX, CAVITEX, and C5 Link will be able to enter expressways that use AutoSweep without having to get another RFID sticker.

But before you plan on visiting your nearest AutoSweep kiosk or customer service center on January 15, SMC Infrastructure also mentioned that not all EasyTrip RFID stickers will be eligible to register with AutoSweep. Only the newest “Neology” EasyTrip RFID will be the ones that the AutoSweep system will be able to read.

This means those who plan to enroll will have their RFIDs checked by AutoSweep personnel first to see if their EasyTrip sticker is compatible. As to whether the load from an EasyTrip account can be used for AutoSweep, the company said that each RFID will still have its own wallets – meaning one will still have to load each account separately when using either system.

When it comes to the requirements needed to enroll one's EasyTrip with AutoSweep, SMC Infrastructure said that interested motorists can download and fill out an application form at www.autosweeprfid.com. Once the form has been filled out, the user has to print it, along with a copy of one government-issued (or company-issued) ID, and the vehicle that has the EasyTrip RFID to their preferred AutoSweep customer service centers or kiosks.

With a month to go before EasyTrip users can register their RFID with AutoSweep, those who frequently travel between Southern, Central, and Northern Luzon will be able to travel seamlessly between various expressways without having to get two different stickers. However, they will still have to load each account separately as AutoSweep mentioned that the load on an EasyTrip account cannot be used on tollways under SMC Infrastructure.
